Bhagavad Gita 2.58 meaning

yada sanharate ch-ayam koormongan-eeva sarvashah indriyan-eendriyarthebhyas tasya prajna pratishthita

When a person can fully withdraw the senses from their objects, as a tortoise draws in its limbs, that person's wisdom is firmly established.

What it means
Like a tortoise pulling in its limbs, we can learn to step back from constant stimulation, from screens, noise and cravings. This power to withdraw at will is the root of focus.

Spoken by Krishna.
