Bhagavad Gita 2.55 meaning

prajahati yada kaman sarvan partha manogatan atmany-ev-atmana tushtah sthitaprajnas tad-ochyate

Krishna said: When a person gives up all the desires that rise in the mind, Partha, and is content in the self alone, that person is called one of steady wisdom.

What it means
Steady wisdom begins with contentment that comes from within, not from getting more. When we stop depending on every wish being fulfilled, we become far more free and settled.

Spoken by Krishna.
