Bhagavad Gita 2.46 meaning
yavan artha udapane sarvatah samplutodake
tavan sarveshu vedeshu brahmanasya vijanatah
A small well has as much use as a great lake overflowing on all sides; in the same way, all the Vedas have as much use for a wise person who knows the truth.
What it means
Once you have found the source, you don't need to keep collecting small sources. Rules and rituals serve a purpose, but real understanding includes and goes beyond them. How it helps in real life
- Studies & exams: Buying your fifth course on the same coding topic? Stop collecting. Finish one deeply and build something real with it.
- Every day: Juggling ten morning hacks from YouTube? Keep the one practice that truly steadies you, like five quiet minutes, and drop the rest.
Spoken by Krishna.
