Bhagavad Gita 18.53 meaning

ahankaram balam darpam kamam krodham parigraham vimuchya nirmamah shanto brahmabhooyaya kalpate

letting go of ego, force, arrogance, lust, anger and possessiveness, free of 'mine' and at peace, one becomes fit to become one with Brahman.

What it means
Ego, aggression, pride, lust, anger and the urge to hoard are heavy bags. Put them down one by one and peace has room to grow.

Spoken by Krishna.
