Bhagavad Gita · Moksa Sannyasa Yoga
Bhagavad Gita 18.12 meaning
anishtam ishtam mishram cha trividham karmanah phalam
bhavaty atyaginam pretya na tu sannyasinam kvachit
Those who cling to results receive the three kinds of outcome after death: unwanted, wanted and mixed. But for those who have truly let go, there is none.
What it means
When we act out of craving, every action leaves a mark, good, bad or mixed, that pulls us along. When we act freely, nothing sticks. Letting go lightens the load we carry forward.
Spoken by Krishna.
