What it means
The deepest discipline is inside: keeping the mind cheerful, gentle and clear of bad feelings. A few minutes of silence and honest self-check each day can do more than any outward ritual. How it helps in real life
- Every day: Before the house wakes up, sit in silence for five minutes with your tea and check: any bitterness I'm carrying today?
- When you are angry: Your mind is replaying an argument with your sister. Choose silence for an hour, breathe slowly, and let the bitterness settle.
