Bhagavad Gita · Gunatraya Vibhaga Yoga
Bhagavad Gita 14.13 meaning
aprakashopravrittish cha pramado moha eva cha
tamasy-etani jayante vivriddhe kurunandana
Darkness of mind, lack of effort, carelessness and confusion: these arise when dullness grows strong, Arjuna.
What it means
Feeling foggy, unmotivated and careless isn't who you are; it's a passing state. Fresh air, movement, good company and one small task can begin to lift that heaviness. How it helps in real life
- After a setback: After losing your job you've stopped showering and replying to calls. Today, just shower, step outside, and answer one message.
- With friends: A friend has gone silent and foggy for weeks. Don't lecture; pick him up for a chai and a short walk this Sunday.
Spoken by Krishna.
