Bhagavad Gita 12.17 meaning

One who neither gets overjoyed nor hates, neither grieves nor craves, and has let go of both good and bad outcomes, that devoted person is dear to me.

What it means
This is not about becoming cold. It's about not being thrown around by every high and low. Emotional balance lets you feel deeply without losing yourself.

Spoken by Krishna.
