What it means
Krishna begins listing the inner states people experience, good and painful alike. Seeing both joy and pain as part of one larger life helps us hold them with less panic. How it helps in real life
- When you are worried: Nervous before your first solo work trip to the US? Notice the fear, name it, and remember courage can sit right beside it.
- Health & body: A week of back pain has you feeling low. Accept that painful days come and go, do your usual stretches, and avoid imagining the worst.
