Bhagavad Gita 10.25 meaning
maharsheenam bhrigur aham giram asmy-ekam aksharam
yajnanam japayajnosmi sthavaranam himalayah
Among great sages I am Bhrigu; among words I am the single syllable Om. Among offerings I am quiet repetition of a sacred name, and among unmoving things I am the Himalaya.
What it means
The simplest practice, quietly repeating a sacred word or name, is called the highest offering. You don't need elaborate rituals or money; steady, silent remembrance is enough. How it helps in real life
- When you are worried: Heavy turbulence on your flight to Dubai? Quietly repeat Ram or Om with each breath until the seatbelt sign goes off.
- Every day: No time for a full puja before the office cab arrives? Repeat a name of God eleven times while brushing or tying your shoes.
Spoken by Krishna.
