Bhagavad Gita 10.1 meaning
bhooya eva mahabaho shrinu me paramam vachah
yat teham preeyamanaya vakshyami hitakamyaya
Krishna said: Listen once more, mighty Arjuna, to my highest teaching. Because you are dear to me and I want what is good for you, I will tell you more.
What it means
Krishna speaks out of affection, not authority. The best guidance in life usually comes from people who genuinely want our good. Listening again, even to what we have heard before, often opens something new.How it helps in real life
- With family: Your father repeats the same advice about savings on every call. Listen once more without rolling your eyes; he says it because he cares.
- At work: A senior mentor gives feedback you have heard before. Instead of saying you know, ask what specifically you are still missing.
Spoken by Krishna.
