Bhagavad Gita 1.9 meaning
anye cha bahavah shoora madarthe tyaktajeevitah
nanashastrapraharanah sarve yuddhavisharadah
अन्ये च बहवः शूरा मदर्थे त्यक्तजीविताः।
नानाशस्त्रप्रहरणाः सर्वे युद्धविशारदाः॥
And many other heroes are ready to give their lives for my sake. They carry all kinds of weapons and are all skilled in war.
What it means
Notice the phrase 'for my sake'. Duryodhana sees this war as being about him. When ego is at the centre, other people become tools for our goals rather than people with lives of their own.हिंदी में अर्थ
और भी कई वीर हैं जो मेरे लिए जान देने को तैयार हैं। वे तरह-तरह के हथियार चलाते हैं और सभी युद्ध में निपुण हैं।
'मेरे लिए' शब्द पर ध्यान दीजिए। दुर्योधन को लगता है सब कुछ उसी के लिए है। अहंकार में दूसरे लोग बस अपने मकसद के साधन लगने लगते हैं।
