Ashtavakra Gita · Chapter 5
Ashtavakra Gita 5.1 meaning
sanghatavilayam kurvann evam eva layam vraja
You are not tied to anything at all. Pure as you are, what is there for you to give up? Let the false sense of being a bundle of body and mind dissolve, and so merge into peace.
What it means
Sometimes we make renunciation into another big task. But if nothing truly binds you, there is nothing dramatic to give up. Simply stop clinging to a fixed image of yourself and rest.
Spoken by Ashtavakra.
