Ashtavakra Gita 3.1 meaning
avinashinam atmanam ekam vijnaya tattvatah
tav-atmajnasya dheerasya katham arth-arjane ratih
अविनाशिनमात्मानमेकं विज्ञाय तत्त्वतः।
तवात्मज्ञस्य धीरस्य कथमर्थार्जने रतिः॥
You have truly understood the Self as one and indestructible. You are wise and steady. So how can you still be so attached to piling up wealth?
What it means
Knowing something in theory and living it are different. You can understand that money cannot fill the deepest need and still chase it compulsively. Honest self-checks keep your actions in line with what you know.हिंदी में अर्थ
तुमने आत्मा को सच में एक और अविनाशी जान लिया है। तुम ज्ञानी और धीर हो। फिर भी धन बटोरने में तुम्हारा इतना लगाव कैसे?
किसी बात को जानना और उसे जीना अलग हैं। हम समझते हैं कि पैसा गहरी ज़रूरत नहीं भर सकता, फिर भी उसके पीछे भागते हैं। ईमानदारी से खुद को परखते रहो।
