Ashtavakra Gita · Chapter 18
Ashtavakra Gita 18.74 meaning
akshayam gatasantapam atmanam pashyato muneh
kva vidya cha kva va vishvam kva dehoham mameti va
For the sage who sees the Self as imperishable and beyond all distress, where is knowledge, where is the universe, and where are the thoughts 'I am the body' or 'this is mine'?
What it means
Many worries begin with 'this body is me' and 'this is mine'. When you sense something in you that does not decay or suffer, those tight identifications begin to loosen.
Spoken by Ashtavakra.
