Ashtavakra Gita · Chapter 18
Ashtavakra Gita 18.73 meaning
buddhiparyantasansare mayamatram vivartate
nirmamo nirahankaro nishkamah shobhate budhah
The world, which reaches only as far as the intellect, is nothing but appearance. Free of 'mine', free of ego and free of craving, the wise one shines.
What it means
Much of the drama we live in is created by how the mind frames things. Letting go of 'mine', 'me' and 'more' does not shrink life; it makes you lighter and brighter.
Spoken by Ashtavakra.
