Ashtavakra Gita 18.61 meaning
nivrittir api moodhasya pravrittir upajayate
pravrittir api dheerasya nivrittiphalabhaginee
For the confused person, even withdrawing from action turns into more activity. For the wise one, even action brings the fruit of rest.
What it means
Quitting your job to 'find peace' can become just another restless project. Meanwhile someone with a settled mind can be busy and still be resting inside. It is about the mind, not the activity.
Spoken by Ashtavakra.
