Ashtavakra Gita 18.25 meaning
kritam dehena karmedam na maya shuddharoopina
iti chintanurodhee yah kurvann api karoti na
कृतं देहेन कर्मेदं न मया शुद्धरूपिणा।
इति चिन्तानुरोधी यः कुर्वन्नपि करोति न॥
"This action was done by the body, not by me, who am pure awareness." Whoever lives by this understanding does not really act, even while acting.
What it means
You can work fully without carrying the weight of 'I did this'. The body and mind do their jobs; you are the one aware of it. That small shift takes away much of the pressure behind action.हिंदी में अर्थ
"यह काम शरीर ने किया है, मैंने नहीं, मैं तो शुद्ध चेतना हूँ।" जो इस समझ के साथ जीता है, वह काम करते हुए भी असल में कर्ता नहीं होता।
हम पूरी तरह काम कर सकते हैं, बिना 'मैंने किया' का बोझ उठाए। शरीर और मन अपना काम करते हैं, हम उसे देखने वाले हैं। यही बदलाव कर्म का दबाव हल्का कर देता है।
