Ashtavakra Gita · Chapter 18
Ashtavakra Gita 18.16 meaning
yena drishtam param brahma soham brahm-eti chintayet
kim chintayati nishchinto dviteeyam yo na pashyati
One who has glimpsed the supreme reality may think, 'I am that reality.' But what does one beyond thought think about, who sees no second at all?
What it means
Even affirmations about your true nature are still thoughts. Real wholeness doesn't need to repeat itself; it simply rests, needing no reminder. Let the words fall away and just be.
Spoken by Ashtavakra.
