Ashtavakra Gita 16.11 meaning
haro yady-upadeshta te harih kamalajopi va
tathapi na tava svasthyam sarvavismaranad rite
हरो यद्युपदेष्टा ते हरिः कमलजोऽपि वा।
तथापि न तव स्वास्थ्यं सर्वविस्मरणादृते॥
Even if Shiva, Vishnu or Brahma were your teacher, you would not find true ease until you forget it all.

चाहे शिव, विष्णु या ब्रह्मा भी तुम्हें उपदेश दें, फिर भी सब भुला देने के बिना तुम्हें सच्ची शांति नहीं मिलेगी।
कोई गुरु, कितना भी महान हो, आपको शांति थमा नहीं सकता। वह रास्ता दिखा सकता है, पर छोड़ना आपको ही है। आख़िरी कदम हमेशा आपका है।
