Ashtavakra Gita 15.1 meaning
yathatath-opadeshena kritarthah sattvabuddhiman
ajeevam api jijnasuh paras tatra vimuhyati
यथातथोपदेशेन कृतार्थः सत्त्वबुद्धिमान्।
आजीवमपि जिज्ञासुः परस्तत्र विमुह्यति॥
A clear-minded person reaches the goal even from a simple, casual teaching. Another person may keep inquiring all life long and still stay confused.

शुद्ध बुद्धि वाला व्यक्ति साधारण-से उपदेश से भी लक्ष्य पा लेता है। दूसरा जीवन भर जिज्ञासा करता रहे, फिर भी उलझा ही रहता है।
समझ इस पर कम निर्भर है कि आपने कितना सुना, और ज़्यादा इस पर कि आप कितने खुले हैं। एक सच्चा पल वह कर सकता है जो सालों की जानकारी नहीं कर पाती।
