Ashtavakra Gita · Chapter 11
Ashtavakra Gita 11.8 meaning
nan-ashcharyam idam vishvam na kinchid iti nishchayee
nirvasanah sphoortimatro na kinchid iva shamyati
Sure that this world full of wonders is really nothing, a person free of hidden cravings, simply aware, finds peace as if nothing exists at all.
What it means
The world dazzles us and keeps us chasing. Seeing its glitter as passing, not ultimate, removes its hook. You can still enjoy life while resting in a quiet awareness that needs nothing.
Spoken by Ashtavakra.
