Ashtavakra Gita 1.12 meaning
atma sakshee vibhuh poorna eko muktash chid akriyah
asango nihsprihah shanto bhramat sansaravan iva
आत्मा साक्षी विभुः पूर्ण एको मुक्तश्चिदक्रियः।
असङ्गो निःस्पृहः शान्तो भ्रमात्संसारवानिव॥
The Self is the witness: all-pervading, complete, one, free, pure awareness, beyond action, unattached, wanting nothing, at peace. Only through confusion does it seem caught up in the world.
What it means
At your core you are already complete and calm. The feeling of being trapped in endless problems comes from mistaken identity. Remembering your deeper nature does not remove life's tasks, but it removes their grip.हिंदी में अर्थ
आत्मा साक्षी है: सर्वव्यापक, पूर्ण, एक, मुक्त, चेतन, कर्म से परे, निर्लिप्त, इच्छा-रहित और शांत। केवल भ्रम के कारण वह संसार में उलझी-सी लगती है।
भीतर से तुम पहले से पूर्ण और शांत हो। अनगिनत परेशानियों में फँसे होने का एहसास गलत पहचान से आता है। अपना असली स्वरूप याद रखो, समस्याओं की पकड़ ढीली पड़ जाएगी।
