Yoga Sutras 3.3 meaning
tad ev-arthamatranirbhasam svaroopashoonyam iva samadhih
तदेवार्थमात्रनिर्भासं स्वरूपशून्यमिव समाधिः॥
When only the object shines in awareness and the sense of 'I am meditating' seems to vanish, that is samādhi.
What it means
Think of moments when you were so absorbed in music, art or work that you forgot yourself. Samādhi is that total absorption, made deep and deliberate, where the self-conscious chatter falls silent.हिंदी में अर्थ
जब केवल ध्येय वस्तु ही प्रकाशित रहे और ध्यान करने वाले का अपना भाव मानो मिट जाए, वह समाधि है।
याद कीजिए जब संगीत या काम में इतने डूबे कि ख़ुद को भूल गए। समाधि वही पूर्ण तल्लीनता है, गहरी और सचेत, जहाँ 'मैं' की बकबक थम जाती है।
