Yoga Sutras 2.31 meaning
jati-desha-kala-samay-anavachchinnah sarvabhauma mahavratam
जातिदेशकालसमयानवच्छिन्नाः सार्वभौमा महाव्रतम्॥
When these restraints are kept everywhere, unlimited by birth, place, time or circumstance, they become the great vow.
