For those wandering on life's road, burned by the scorching sun of suffering and lost in the desert in search of water, Shankara's words show the nearby, blissful ocean of nectar, non-dual Brahman. May these liberating words prevail.

What it means
We chase mirages of happiness across a hot desert while an ocean of peace lies close by. The closing verse is a promise: what you seek is nearer than you think.

Spoken by Adi Shankaracharya.
