shastrasya guruvakyasya satyabuddhy-avadharanam
sa shraddha kathita sadbhir yaya vast-oopalabhyate
शास्त्रस्य गुरुवाक्यस्य सत्यबुद्ध्यवधारणम् ।
सा श्रद्धा कथिता सद्भिर्यया वस्तूपलभ्यते ॥
Accepting the teachings of scripture and of the teacher as true, with full conviction, is called shraddhā, faith; through it Reality is attained.
