Valmiki Ramayana 7.10.27 meaning
ya ya me jayate buddhir yeshu yeshv-ashrameshv-iha
sa sa bhavatu dharmishtha tam tam dharmam cha palaye
या या मे जायते बुद्धिर्येषु येष्वाश्रमेष्विह।
सा सा भवतु धर्मिष्ठा तं तं धर्मं च पालये॥
In whatever stage of life I am, may every thought that arises in me be righteous, and may I always uphold dharma.
What it means
Offered any boon by Brahma, Vibhishana asks only for a mind that always chooses right. Wealth and power fade, but a good mind guides you through every season of life.हिंदी में अर्थ
जीवन के जिस भी आश्रम में मैं रहूँ, मेरे मन में उठने वाला हर विचार धर्ममय हो, और मैं सदा धर्म का पालन करूँ।
ब्रह्मा ने कोई भी वर माँगने को कहा, तो विभीषण ने बस यही माँगा कि मन सदा सही चुने। धन और सत्ता मिट जाते हैं, पर अच्छा मन जीवन के हर दौर में राह दिखाता है।
