Valmiki Ramayana 2.101.28 meaning

karmabhoomim imam prapya kartavyam karma yach chubham agnir vayush cha somash cha karmanam phalabhaginah

Having come into this world, the field of action, one should do the work that is good. Even Agni, Vayu and Soma enjoy the fruits of their own deeds.

What it means
Life is a place for doing, not just wishing. Even the gods, Rama says, hold their place because of what they do. Whatever your role, let your actions be worthwhile.

Spoken by Rama.
