alankaro hi nareenam kshama tu purushasya va
dushkaram tach cha vah kshantam tridasheshu visheshatah
अलंकारो हि नारीणां क्षमा तु पुरुषस्य वा।
दुष्करं तच्च वः क्षान्तं त्रिदशेषु विशेषतः॥
Forgiveness is the true ornament of women, and of men too. What you have forgiven is hard to forgive, even for the gods.
