tulasee je keerati chahahin, par kee keerati khoi tinake munh masi lagihain, mitahi na marihai dhoi
तुलसी जे कीरति चहहिं, पर की कीरति खोइ। तिनके मुँह मसि लागिहैं, मिटहि न मरिहै धोइ॥

Tulsi says: those who want fame by destroying others' good name will end up with soot on their own faces, a stain that won't wash off even if they scrub themselves to death.

What it means
Pulling others down to look good always backfires. Gossip and character attacks stick to the person who spreads them. Build your reputation by your own work, not others' ruin.
