Taittiriya Upanishad 1.11.1 meaning
satyan na pramaditavyam dharman na pramaditavyam
kushalan na pramaditavyam bhootyai na pramaditavyam
सत्यान्न प्रमदितव्यम् । धर्मान्न प्रमदितव्यम् ।
कुशलान्न प्रमदितव्यम् । भूत्यै न प्रमदितव्यम् ॥
Do not drift from truth. Do not drift from dharma. Do not neglect your own well-being. Do not neglect what helps you grow and prosper.
What it means
Notice that the teacher puts honesty and ethics right beside health and prosperity. Spiritual life is not about neglecting yourself; looking after your well-being and your growth is also part of living well.हिंदी में अर्थ
सत्य से मत भटको। धर्म से मत भटको। अपनी भलाई की अनदेखी मत करो। अपनी उन्नति और समृद्धि के प्रति लापरवाह मत बनो।
गुरु सच्चाई और धर्म के साथ-साथ सेहत और तरक्की की बात भी करते हैं। अपना ध्यान रखना और आगे बढ़ना भी अच्छे जीवन का हिस्सा है।
