paurusha drishyate siddhih paurushad dheematam kramah
daivam ashvasanamatram duhkhe pelavabuddhishu
पौरुषादृश्यते सिद्धिः पौरुषाद्धीमतां क्रमः ।
दैवमाश्वासनामात्रं दुःखे पेलवबुद्धिषु ॥
Success is seen to come from effort, and the wise move forward through effort. Fate is merely a consolation for feeble minds in times of sorrow.
What it means
Blaming fate can soothe a disappointment, but it does not change anything. The wise treat effort as the real engine of progress. Feel the setback, then turn back toward what you can do.हिंदी में अर्थ
सफलता पुरुषार्थ से ही दिखती है, और बुद्धिमानों की प्रगति भी पुरुषार्थ से होती है। भाग्य तो दुःख के समय कमज़ोर मन वालों के लिए केवल सांत्वना है।
किस्मत को दोष देना निराशा में तसल्ली देता है, पर कुछ बदलता नहीं। समझदार मेहनत को ही प्रगति का इंजन मानते हैं। दुःख महसूस कीजिए, फिर अपने हाथ के काम पर लौटिए।
