ahinsa prathamam pushpam dviteey-endriyanigraham
triteeyam tu daya pushpam tureeyam danapushpakam
अहिंसा प्रथमं पुष्पं द्वितीयेन्द्रियनिग्रहम् ।
तृतीयं तु दया पुष्पं तुरीयं दानपुष्पकम् ॥
The first flower to offer God is non-violence; the second is control of the senses; the third flower is compassion; and the fourth is the flower of giving.

सबसे अच्छे चढ़ावे दुकान से नहीं आते। कोमलता, संयम, दया और उदारता ऐसे फूल हैं जिन्हें रोज़ उगाकर, लोगों से अपने व्यवहार के ज़रिए भगवान को अर्पित किया जा सकता है।
