Subhashitas Subhashita 282 meaning

mookah parapavade paradaranireekshanepy-andhah panguh paradhanaharane sa jayati lokatraye purushah

Mute when it comes to slandering others, blind to others' spouses, lame when it comes to taking others' wealth — such a person triumphs in all three worlds.

What it means
Sometimes goodness is about what you refuse to do. Keep your tongue from gossip, your eyes from what isn't yours, and your hands from others' property. These quiet restraints make a person truly strong.
