अहो दुर्जनसंसर्गान्मानहानिः पदे पदे ।
पावको लोहसङ्गेन मुद्गरैरभिहन्यते ॥
Oh, keeping company with the wicked brings loss of honour at every step. Because fire stays with iron, it gets beaten with hammers.
