Ramcharitmanas 3.36.3 meaning
The ninth devotion is being simple and free of deceit with everyone, trusting me fully at heart, neither elated nor downcast. Whoever has even one of these nine — man, woman or any creature at all — is, Rama goes on to say, deeply dear to him.

नौवीं भक्ति है सबके साथ सरल और छल-रहित व्यवहार, मन में मेरा पूरा भरोसा, और न ज़्यादा हर्ष न दीनता। इन नौ में से जिसके पास एक भी हो — चाहे स्त्री हो, पुरुष हो या कोई भी जीव — वह (राम आगे कहते हैं) मुझे अत्यंत प्रिय है।
राम नवधा भक्ति को सरलता और शांत भरोसे से पूरा करते हैं। सबसे प्यारी बात यह है कि नौ की ज़रूरत नहीं — कोई एक भी सच्चे मन से हो, तो आप भगवान के प्रिय हैं।
