बंदउँ संत समान चित हित अनहित नहिं कोइ।
अंजलि गत सुभ सुमन जिमि सम सुगंध कर दोइ॥
I bow to the saints, whose minds are even, with no friend or enemy. Like fragrant flowers held in cupped hands, they give the same sweetness to both hands that hold them.

मैं उन संतों को प्रणाम करता हूँ जिनका मन सबके लिए समान है, न कोई दोस्त न दुश्मन। जैसे अंजलि में रखे फूल दोनों हाथों को एक जैसी सुगंध देते हैं, वैसे ही वे सबका भला करते हैं।
फूल यह नहीं चुनता कि किस हाथ को खुशबू दे। हिसाब रखे बिना सबके साथ भलाई करो; यही बराबरी इंसान को सच में अच्छा बनाती है।
