What it means
Kindness shouldn't depend on relationship or return. The great figures of legend helped strangers at enormous cost. You don't need to give that much, but help freely, without checking credentials. How it helps in real life
- Helping others: A stranger collapsed on the railway platform and people are filming. Put your phone away, call for help, and stay with him until it arrives.
- At work: A new colleague from another team is stuck on a bug at 8pm. Help him, even though he's not on your project.
