Rahim ke Dohe Doha 39 meaning

rahiman jihva bavaree, kahi gai sarag patal apu to kahi bheetar rahee, jootee khat kapal

Rahim says: the tongue is reckless; it blurts out anything, from heaven to hell. Then it slips back inside the mouth, and it's the head that gets beaten.

What it means
Careless words cost you, not your tongue. One thoughtless comment can bring years of trouble and embarrassment. Pause for a breath before you speak, especially when you're angry, excited or trying to impress.

How it helps in real life

Spoken by Rahim.
