gunamahatmy-asakti-roop-asakti-pooj-asakti-smaran-asakti-dasy-asakti-sakhy-asakti-vatsaly-asakti-kant-asakti atmanivedan-asakti-tanmayat-asakti-paramavirah-asakti-roopa ekadh-apy ekadashadha bhavati

गुणमाहात्म्यासक्तिरूपासक्तिपूजासक्तिस्मरणासक्तिदास्यासक्तिसख्यासक्तिवात्सल्यासक्तिकान्तासक्ति आत्मनिवेदनासक्तितन्मयतासक्तिपरमविरहासक्तिरूपा एकधाप्येकादशधा भवति॥

Though one, devotion takes eleven forms: love of His glories, of His form, of worship, of remembrance, of service, of friendship, of parental affection, of the beloved, of self-surrender, of total absorption, and of the ache of separation.

What it means

There is no single correct way to love God. You may relate as a servant, a friend, a parent, a beloved, or simply by remembering. Find the relationship that feels most natural to your heart.

हिंदी में अर्थ

भक्ति एक होकर भी ग्यारह रूप लेती है: गुण-महिमा से प्रेम, रूप से, पूजा से, स्मरण से, सेवा से, सखा-भाव से, वात्सल्य से, प्रियतम-भाव से, आत्म-समर्पण से, तन्मयता से और विरह की तड़प से।

ईश्वर से प्रेम करने का कोई एक ही सही तरीका नहीं है। सेवक, मित्र, माता-पिता, प्रियतम बनकर या बस याद करके, किसी भी रूप में जुड़ सकते हैं। जो रिश्ता दिल को सहज लगे, वही चुनिए।
