Narada Bhakti Sutra 44 meaning

kamakrodhamohasmritibhransha-buddhinashasarvanasha-karanatvat

Because it stirs up lust, anger and confusion, which lead to loss of memory, loss of good judgement, and finally to complete ruin.

What it means
Ruin rarely happens in one step. It starts with a craving or a flash of anger, then confusion, then forgetting who you are, then bad decisions. Bad company speeds up that chain. Break it early.

Spoken by Narada.
