Narada Bhakti Sutra 27 meaning
eeshvarasy-apy-abhimanadveshitvad dainyapriyatvach cha
ईश्वरस्याप्यभिमानद्वेषित्वाद्दैन्यप्रियत्वाच्च॥
Also because God dislikes pride in any form, and dearly loves humility and a modest heart.
What it means
Achievements, even spiritual ones, can quietly inflate the ego. Humble love leaves no room for that. The person who feels small before the Divine is the one closest to Him.हिंदी में अर्थ
और इसलिए भी कि ईश्वर को अहंकार नापसंद है और विनम्रता प्रिय है।
उपलब्धियाँ, आध्यात्मिक भी, चुपचाप अहंकार बढ़ा सकती हैं। विनम्र प्रेम में उसकी जगह नहीं होती। जो ईश्वर के सामने ख़ुद को छोटा मानता है, वही उसके सबसे क़रीब है।
