Mundaka Upanishad 1.1.3 meaning
shaunako ha vai mahashalongirasam vidhivad upasannah paprachcha
kasmin nu bhagavo vijnate sarvam idam vijnatam bhavat-eeti
Shaunaka, a great householder, approached the sage Angiras in the proper way and asked: 'Revered sir, what is that which, once known, makes all of this known?'
What it means
A successful man with everything still feels something is missing and goes to learn with humility. Asking the one big question, what truly matters underneath everything, is a sign of maturity, not weakness.
Spoken by Shaunaka.
