Mahabharata 5.39.46 meaning
kshamed ashaktah sarvasya shaktiman dharmakaranat
arthanarthau samau yasya tasya nityam kshama hita
क्षमेदशक्तः सर्वस्य शक्तिमान्धर्मकारणात्।
अर्थानर्थौ समौ यस्य तस्य नित्यं क्षमा हिता॥
The powerless should forgive everyone, and the powerful should forgive for the sake of what is right. For one who sees gain and loss as equal, forgiveness is always good.
