Mahabharata 5.35.49 meaning

It is no assembly where there are no elders; they are no elders who do not speak for what is right; it is no dharma that has no truth in it; and it is no truth that is mixed with deceit.

What it means
Seniority means nothing if experienced people stay silent when wrong is done. And truth twisted by clever framing stops being truth. Speak up, and speak honestly.

Spoken by Vidura.
