Katha Upanishad 1.2.6 meaning
na samparayah pratibhati balam pramadyantam vittamohena moodham
ayam loko n-asti para iti manee punah punar vasham apadyate me
न साम्परायः प्रतिभाति बालं प्रमाद्यन्तं वित्तमोहेन मूढम्।
अयं लोको नास्ति पर इति मानी पुनः पुनर्वशमापद्यते मे॥
The way beyond does not shine for the childish person, careless and dazed by the love of wealth. Thinking 'only this world exists, there is nothing more', he falls into my power again and again.

जब धन ही पूरी दुनिया बन जाए, तो हम गहराई में देखना बंद कर देते हैं और वही ग़लतियाँ दोहराते हैं। केवल दिखने वाले के लिए जीना हमें क्षणिक का क़ैदी बना देता है।
