Kabir ke Dohe Doha 189 meaning
saravar taravar sant jan, chautha barase meh
paramarath ke karane, charon dharee deh
Lakes, trees, saintly people, and fourthly the rain cloud: all four take form for the good of others.
What it means
Nature gives without asking anything back: lakes quench thirst, trees give shade, rain feeds the land. A good life can be like that, useful to others. How it helps in real life
- Helping others: Your building's security guard skips lunch to send money home to his village. Bring an extra tiffin for him twice a week.
- When you succeed: Your business is finally doing well. Like a tree giving shade, sponsor one student's college fees from this year's profit.
Spoken by Kabir.
