so guru jhootha janiye, tyagat der na lay
If a guru cannot remove your confusion, if your doubts never go away, know that guru is false, and don't delay in leaving.
What it means
A real teacher brings clarity, not dependence or deeper confusion. If someone keeps you anxious and stuck, it's okay to walk away. Loyalty should never override truth. How it helps in real life
- At work: Your mentor at the firm keeps you confused and dependent, never answering straight. Find a senior who explains clearly, and spend time with them.
- When you are worried: The baba your family follows keeps predicting doom unless you pay for more pujas. It's okay to stop going; tell your parents gently.
