Kabir ke Dohe Doha 11 meaning

peeche laga jai tha, lok ved ke sathi again thain sataguru milya, deepak deeya hathi

I was simply following the crowd and custom along with everyone else. Then a true guru met me on the road ahead and placed a lamp in my hand.

What it means
Most of us drift along with what everyone else does. A real teacher does not just give answers; they hand you a lamp so you can see the path for yourself.

How it helps in real life

Spoken by Kabir.
